The first of the series, based on an H.P. Lovecraft novel, involves a medical student who becomes entwined in a series of strange experiments which involve a solution that resurrects post-mordic cells.

Directed by Stuart Gordon in 1985, this movie has a king's ransom of buckets of blood and laboratory filth. A "must-see" for any B horror movie fanatic.
